Challenge

Facility management services is a $34.65 billion dollar business globally and is slated to grow at 11.4% CAGR. In India, the sector is highly unorganized mostly run by individuals in their respective localities. With the rise of gated communities and active Resident Welfare Associations (RWA), demand for accountable and trustworthy property management increasing. The client in question provides such services in and around the city of Mumbai. What drives their business is the ability to provide professional services on a large scale. There were 3 vacancies in operational roles. The roles were: Operations Team Lead and Operations On-ground Executive.

Operations Team Lead has to manage a team of 5 on-ground staff who looks after day-to-day activities like maintenance, payments etc. The On-ground Executive vacancy was for payment collection duties. 

Solution

To attract and screen top talent in the field, The Testament® followed a multi stage approach which consisted of the following steps:

Vacancy posting: Job vacancies were posted in various job platforms as well as The Testament’s proprietary recruitment platform – Market Recruit®. Through Market Recruit®, users can register on the platform and browse various job postings from top companies. They can then refer suitable candidates from their own network for the various job openings. Once the candidate gets selected, the referee gets handsomely rewarded through cash incentives.

Application Screening: Once applications started pouring through the channels, the team at The Testament® performed a two-round screening based on preliminary criterion as well as resume based shortlisting to filter out the best fit candidates. The resumes of the filtered candidates were forwarded to the company for confirmation.

Interview alignment: Once the company confirmed the fit of the candidate in the relevant job vacancies, interviews were aligned of the candidates with the company. The final step of the process i.e. the interview was conducted from the company’s side.

Advertisement Post Acquisition For A C2C Selling Website

How 4000 advertisements got posted on a C2C selling website in 60 days, with the help of The Testament®

Challenge

As per industry estimates, India’s consumption GDP is estimated to grow to $2.5 trillion by 2021, of which, 10% will be online. Of this online consumption, a large chunk will be shared by the C2C space, which is largely unorganized in the country currently.

The client in this case was one of the larger C2C selling websites serving as an advertising platform for all kinds of C2C sales categories. As part of a regular market expansion activity, the client partnered with The Testament® to increase the number of advertisements currently on its portal in 3 categories: mobile phones, computer/laptops and vehicles.

Solution

The Testament® deployed 5 facilitators for this project to work for 2 months across various commercial and residential areas of Bangalore. The facilitators were trained on The Testament’s gamified technology platform EnGame® about the company and its offerings. With training done, the facilitators hit the ground and scanned across Bangalore, targeting both residential and commercial areas. Prospective clients were approached and inquired for any selling opportunities available. For all interested leads, the facilitators were tasked with:

  • Click photos of the property
  • Provide description of the property
  • Provide cost of the property

Once data was acquired, the facilitators posted the advertisements on the advertisement portal, on behalf of the customers.
