How a leading cab aggragator on boarded 1500 drivers on its platform with the help of The Testament®

Leading cab aggregator acquires 1500 drivers in Delhi NCR with the help of The Testament® using its Market Acquisition Capabilities

Challenge

As the cab aggregator space in India heats up with intense competition between global and domestic players, it has become imperative for aggregators to on-board more drivers on its platform to gain competitive advantage. The company in context is one of the leading cab aggregators of the country on an expansionary growth trajectory. To fuel this growth, the company strategized to conduct an on-ground driver acquisition drive in partnership with The Testament.

Solution

For this driver acquisition project, The Testament® activated 20 facilitators across Delhi NCR for 3 months. Data Centres equipped with laptops and wi-fi networks were setup across important junctions which were to be used by facilitators for driver registration.

The facilitators were tasked with:

  • Provide Information to the retailers regarding the service
  • Demonstrate the features of the portals
  • Acquire requisite details of the interested retailers for account creation

Once drivers were registered on the platform, they were then trained on the company's process for effective operations, with The Testament's training assistance services.

Results

  • 1500 drivers on-boarded in 60 days
  • Increased driver base in Delhi NCR
  • Better process adherence by better trained drivers
